# $SHARD

* Shards (SHARD) is the currency in CryptoKnights which players can consume to enhance their equipment.
* It is not an On-Chain token (ERC-20) yet, but we plan to make it one.
* We plan to offer more utility for Shards.
* Players can earn Shards in the CryptoKnights game.
* We plan to allow players to stake RUBY to earn more SHARD.
* We plan to offer SHARD/RUBY trading pairs with more DeFi utility such as Liquidity Mining and more.
